Von Mørner er stolte av å presentere de første bildene fra Ola Waagens nye film «Varsleren»
Etter år med kamp for dyrene trekker Norun Haugen seg tilbake til Dale Store Gård. Hun er utbrent og desillusjonert. Haugen håper at nærkontakt med dyr og tid borte fra byen vil føre til at hun finner tilbake til drivkraften. Men noe er galt. Spøkelser fra fortiden har fulgt med.
«Varsleren» er et nært portrett av en idealist på bristepunktet. I møte med dyrene og stillheten tvinges Norun til å konfrontere både egne grenser og en uro som ikke slipper taket. Hva skjer med et menneske når blikket utenfra – både fra dyr og mennesker – blir for tungt å bære?
Norun Haugen er kjent for sitt undercover-arbeid i norsk kjøttindustri, og var hovedpersonen i dokumentaren «Griseindustriens Hemmeligheter» som rystet hele Norge. Erfaringene fra årene undercover er fortsatt levende i henne – på godt og vondt.
«Varsleren» utforsker hva som skjer når kampen for en større sak går på bekostning av egen helse, og hvordan fortidens traumer kan åpne døren til ny innsikt – og kanskje forandring.
